*JOICFP Initiatives There are many people in the world who are faced with discrimination and domestic violence, have restrictions on their education and employment, and are forced into marriages they don't want just because they are women. There are many women who do not have the right to choose. In some countries and regions, it is not uncommon for women to die due to pregnancy at a young age or childbirth in unsanitary conditions. Approximately 300,000 people a year worldwide. Approximately 808 women die each day, or one woman every two minutes, due to pregnancy and childbirth. In response to this situation, JOICFP has been engaged in activities to ``protect women's lives and health'' for more than 50 years, including education to protect women in Africa and Asian countries, improvement of childbirth environments, and human resource education activities.
